This is such a delicious vegan moist quick bread. I'm all about cutting out too much fat in my baking so this was a delight. I made it for my sweetie who loves chocolate and pumpkin but doesn't do well with too much fat in foods so this was perfect! Off to have a slice now even. I've been busy creating sweet designs for my niece who is having a baby girl in November. The baby shower is in 2 weeks and I am so excited to see her and throw a bash of a shower :) The theme is butterflies and the colors are brown, pink and green. Love it! I recently added a few invitations to my Etsy shop. This is one of the designs and my most popular one at that. For this customer, I did all the printing with envelopes. I was contacted about a month ago to create artwork for an event in Detroit. They had seen the Motown piece I did for the Eugene Concert Choir, a few years ago in this post and wanted something in the same style/feel. This is the new recipe I tried this year - the Marshmallow Cookie Sandwiches. They are a bit of work, but wow are they tasty! I'm going to cut them down to bite size bits and share them with co-workers this week. I made the graham crackers from scratch and they are way good.

I recently was moonstruck when came across these amazing chocolate bar package design at Lovely Package. They are so cool! Most of my weekend was spent cleaning and organizing. It wasn't planned. I woke up on Saturday at 6:30, ate some granola, drank my mocha, noticed some clutter and then hit the ground running. I decided to go with it. Not that I really had a choice. It was much needed and feels great to have a lot of the "chores" off my back now. I am an avid biker. I use it as my main mode of transportation and ride to work every day. With the winter coming I am beginning to dread having to put the bike away for a few months. After much sketching, deciding, coloring changing and nit-picking, I finally finished my They Draw and Cook submission tonight. Phew! Feels good and I am very happy with how it turned out.
